Arika has been working at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence since 2010. Her projects include the NM Grantmakers Directory, NM Nonprofit Directory, NM Volunteer Connection, NM Consultants Directory, and the Center's database. Prior to joining the Center she was a graduate fellow at the Justice Action Center in New York. Arika interned with The Legal Aid Society's immigration unit in New York and served as the nonprofit coordinator at Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii in Honolulu. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, volunteers for the Homeless Legal Clinic in Albuquerque, and serves on the board of New Mexico Forum for Youth in Community. Arika holds a J.D. from New York Law School, an M.P.A. from the University of New Mexico, and a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
